Absolutely, wonderful book for children and adults. I first checked this book out at the library. After reading the first chapter, I was hooked and ordered a hard copy and purchased a digital copy. This book gives practical tools to motivate the novice and experienced individual. It leaves you begging for more. The illustrations are enticing and it's fun reading it. It simplifies Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga with concrete examples and tools. I am a therapist and welcome this as an informative resource for my private and personal practice.
I love this book! I use it to help introduce mindfulness, breathing techniques, and easy yoga poses into my clinical practice. The descriptions and illustrations are wonderful and the interventions are creative and useful for adults and kiddos. Using interventions from this book has been well received especially when working with kiddos with attention, sensory, or anxiety related issues. I’ve loaned this book to colleagues and several have purchased it because they love it too!
I liked it but my children did not care much for it. It may be better received by young girls, I don’t know.
Book is an excellent introduction to mindfulness--for all ages..Simple language and easy instructions make it a must for any age interested in beginning a mindfulness practice
